Maverick County Hospital District issued the following announcement on June 16
Maverick County Hospital District is urging the community to practice safe social distancing measures and get tested if you have had any type of contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Chief Executive Officer Alma Martinez, Clinic Manager Eric Rodriguez, and staff from MCHD held a media meeting on Monday, June 15 in which several topics were presented and discussed.
Among the items presented was the importance of practicing safety measures throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic.
We urge individuals in our community to test for the COVID-19 virus if they experience any of the symptoms outlined by health officials.
Maverick County Hospital District, along with local public officials, have opened up a centralized location to test anyone for the COVID-19 Virus.
The drive-thru testing location is at the MCHD building located at 3406 Bob Rogers Drive and is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
“Don’t be afraid to get tested and don’t wait,” stated Martinez. “MCHD is providing the tests at our location. Make sure to contact us through the Emergency Operations Center at (830) 421–5122 or call us at (830) 757-4900 or (830) 757-4901 for any assistance.”
