The Atascosa County Judge Report on the COVID-19 vaccine has been released.
The report outlines the priorities and planning for the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine in the county. In total, Atascosa County has received 1,200 doses of the vaccine. The vaccines will be distributed to four different locations in the county, three of them in Pleasanton and one in Lytle.
In addition to providing the public with the locations that the vaccines will be distributed to, the Judge Report also lists the priority in which the vaccines will be given to the population. As of now, there are two tiers. In the first tier, "paid and unpaid" workers in hospital settings who come into contact with high-risk patients will be prioritized. In the second tier, "staff in outpatient care settings" will be prioritized.
